Celebrating Our Seniors: Sunset Grill Etobicoke Hosts Seniors Appreciation Day!
Sunset Grill North Queen is honouring the seniors of the community with a very special event. On Tuesday, October 14th, from 2–5 p.m., the location at 150 North Queen Street will host Seniors Appreciation Day. This private event is exclusively for residents of the Eglinton Retirement Community, providing an opportunity to show appreciation and share a delightful afternoon together.
The restaurant’s staff are generously volunteering their time to ensure the event is memorable and welcoming for all guests.
The event is also made possible with the support of the following sponsors:
Greek Community of Mississauga
As this is a private event, Sunset Grill North Queen will be closing early to the public on the day.
Speaking about the upcoming event, George, the owner of Sunset Grill North Queen, expressed his appreciation for the work of the Eglinton Retirement Community and its staff:
“I truly appreciate the commitment to supporting Ontario’s most vulnerable, especially through the work being done to improve the long-term care system. As I look for safe and suitable living options for my own aging parents, I feel a deep, personal connection to these efforts and understand just how meaningful these reforms are for families like mine.”
Community has always been at the heart of Sunset Grill, and supporting our neighbours is part of our mission and ongoing efforts. Seniors Appreciation Day is a heartfelt way to recognize and celebrate the remarkable contributions of local seniors. This special event promises an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and delicious food, a true reflection of the values we’re proud to share with the communities we serve.
