The spirit of community continues to shine bright across Durham Region, where Sunset Grill proudly supported Community Care Durham’s Kilometres for CCD event this past September.

The Kilometres for CCD event is an annual fundraising walk organized by Community Care Durham (CCD) to raise funds and awareness for CCD’s vital Health and Wellness services. As part of the initiative, Sunset Grill contributed to the event’s online auction, helping raise essential funds.

“Your contribution to our online auction played an instrumental role in raising essential funds to support the programs and services we provide throughout Durham Region,” shared Jennifer Hammon, Community Care Durham’s interim CEO, in a letter to Sunset Grill.

“With your support, we can continue to offer programs such as WeConnect Mental Health and Wellness, Community Nursing, and more. These services make it possible for individuals to remain safe, independent, and connected in their own homes.”
